Ravel Academy & Festival

From August 18 to 31, I'll be taking part in the Ravel Academy in Saint-Jean-de-Luz (France).

Every year, the Ravel Academy brings together young musicians at the start of their careers for masterclasses, chamber music projects, premieres of works from the composition class, and encounters with major artists on the international scene. It is part of the Ravel Festival program, in the heart of the Basque Country, between musical tradition and contemporary openness.

During this academy, I will have the privilege of working with Sol Gabetta and Ivan Monighetti.

These two weeks will be punctuated by several student concerts, as well as a highlight on September 4 during the Festival, when we will perform Pierre Boulez's Messagesquisses, an emblematic work from the contemporary repertoire for cello ensemble, with the five other student cellists and Jean-Guihen Queyras.
